What is the AHMF?

The Australian Herpes Management Forum was established in 1996 and is an independent body which aims to improve the awareness, understanding, diagnosis, management and control of herpes virus infections in Australia. The AHMF Board is comprised of the following members:

Mission Statement

To improve the awareness, understanding, management and control of herpes virus infections in Australia.

Objectives

  • To develop practical, patient focused resources and guidelines for the management and control of herpes virus infections in Australia.
  • To disseminate this information to patients, clinicians, public health organisations and governments.
  • To raise awareness of the impact of herpes virus infections on society.
  • To encourage debate, exchange of ideas and the development of consensus regarding the management and control of herpes virus infections.
