New guideline: Herpes Infection and the Eye |

|
Many of the herpes viruses affect the eye in different ways, causing potentially serious consequences such as blindness. The AHMF's new guideline discusses in detail the effects of ocular infection with herpes simplex and varicella zoster viruses, and suggests management strategies for the various manifestations.
