Audience and Content
The main objectives of the Australian
Herpes Management Forum are to provide evidence-based resources and information
about herpes viruses for health professionals, public health
organisations, governments and patients.
The site therefore focuses mainly on providing resources that enable better management
of patients with herpes virus
infections. There are, however, several pages specifically for people with an
interest in, or
concerned about, herpes virus-related conditions. These are most easily accessed from
our Patients page.

Clinical resources published
by the AHMF are referenced and include information about the date the page
was last updated.

commercial product or service will be supported by appropriate, balanced
evidence in the manner outlined above in Principle 4.
All management guidelines describing
the benefits of treatment are referenced.
